(High school students only)

PrerequisiteStudents must be currently employed and work a minimum of 9 hours per week in the restaurant/food service industry.  A work permit is required for students under 18 years of age.

Combines classroom instruction and employer paid on-the-job-training. Students will learn food service practices, safety, sanitation, customer service and management skills.  Upon completion of this two-semester course students will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

Restaurant Management

Under the direction of a professional culinary instructor, students will participate in a culinary dining lab program and learn the career steps necessary to become culinary professionals. All students will design, plan, and operate an on-campus restaurant.
